Improvement in the biodiversity of organic grape and wine production
European project dedicated to the improvement of biodiversity and competitiveness in the grape and wine sector.
The aim of the “European initiative for the improvement of biodiversity in vineyards” is the proposal of agronomic measures favouring biodiversity and the competitiveness of the grape and wine sector.
This project, funded through the EU’s Erasmus+ programme, is being conducted in Germany, Spain, Portugal and Turkey. Its activities include the production of material specifically for the sector on the training and advice of farmers and the exchange of know-how.
The participating entities are: ADVID (Associação para o Desenvolvimento da Viticultura Duriense), Bodensee-Stiftung, ECOVIN (Federal Association of Organic Viticulture), the Global Nature Foundation, Global Nature Fund, La Unió, Quercus, Rapunzel Organik Tarim Ürünleri.
