Recovery and management of steppe wetlands in the region of Tierra de Campos.

Since 1998 we work to recover wetlands in Tierra de Campos. They had been drained for agrarian uses in the 1940s and 1970s.

In collaboration with the Provincial Council for Palencia, we work with the neighboring communities of the Boada and Pedraza de Campos wetlands, carrying out periodic monitoring to study the evolution of the associated bird species, and promoting nature tourism.

We have installed a webcam in the Boada de Campos wetland to show the day-to-day life of lagoon.

We have a deep commitment to the Tierra de Campos wetlands and thanks to the support of the Provincial Council for Palencia and the town councils of Pedraza de Campos and Boada de Campos, since 2006 we kepp on working to promote these ecosystems, which are also habitats of Community interest.
