The Observatori en Ruta is a joint project of the Diputació de València and the València Clima i Energia foundation, which depends on the Valencia City Council. Its objective is to bring environmental education, specifically focused on climate change, to all the municipalities of the province. The project is conceived as an itinerant classroom for workshops, talks and climate information, and has as a reference the Climate Change Observatory that València Clima i Energia also manages in the city itself. This facility, which will be in operation for ten years in 2022, welcomes thousands of visitors every year, many of them schoolchildren, who are trained and informed about the reality of climate change. It has developed materials, infographics, workshops and experiments that now the Observatori en Ruta is also responsible for taking beyond the capital, thanks to its environmental education team, formed by two highly qualified educators.
