Who we are?

Fundación Global Nature

We are a private non-profit foundation dedicated to nature protection. Our work is based on technical knowledge, ethical commitment and innovation. Since our creation in 1993 we bring together theory and practice: we combine the elaboration of strategies and plans with field work and applied projects. More than 20 prizes have rewarded our work.

Our activity includes three main topics: conservation of habitats and species, agri-food sustainability and corporate sustainability. The actions and projects are all interrelated to create synergies, to increase effectiveness in the use of resources, and to ensure continuity of each action line.

Since our early days, the restoration and management of wetlands has been one of our main lines of action. Our activities have directly favoured over 100 wetlands, with a total surface area of over 14,700 hectares.
