Biodiversity assessment and enhancement measures at Finca La Estacada, Tarancón (Cuenca)

We implemented a Biodiversity Action Plan (BPA) at Finca La Estacada, located in Tarancón (Cuenca), with the aim of improving the flora and fauna of this agro-ecosystem.

This is a 200-hectare vineyard, half organic and half in conversion to organic farming, under the Designation of Origin Vinos de Uclés. A technical diagnosis was carried out to design a series of specific actions to increase the quality of semi-natural habitats and to improve the biodiversity.

This initiative, beyond improving the ecological status of the farm provides this wine tourism Complex and its product with a differentiated value linked to their commitment to nature.

We use tools such as the Biodiversity Performance Tool and geographic information systems to provide technical support in accordance with the needs of each territory.
