Environmental education

education is part of every project.

«Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn»
Benjamín Franklin

We involve all stakeholders in our conservation projects because a better knowledge of our natural heritage means a better conservation.

Nature for all

We promote an inclusive environmental education with Joëlette, a wheelchair adapted to pedestrian trails; we organize routes in Natural Areas supported by volunteers. We train volunteers to use the Joëlette.

Volunteering

We develop volunteering activities with companies and we also host students participating in traineeship programmes in the framework of Collaboration Agreements signed between Fundación Global Nature and universities.

Environmental Education Centres

We have two environmental education centres and youth hostels, La Dehesa and Tierra de Campos, and a Museum House created close to the Boada de Campos wetland.

OUTSTANDING PROJECTS

We create alliances and promote innovation to ensure conservation and development.

Sustainability is a shared responsibility and the conservation of our natural heritage involves finding benefits for all stakeholders living in side by side.

Biodiversity gardens

We create school gardens as educational tools to work with biodiversity issues such as traditional varieties, healthy and sustainable nutrition, circular economy, recycling and composting.
